Our History

GA Jet was founded in 1985 by a local businessman to provide aircraft services and travel to his friends, family, and business partners.

During those early years the company operated two aircraft providing air ambulance and charter services around the Lawrenceville, Georgia airport.

In 2012, Mr. Lea Williams purchased the company with the vision to grow GA Jet into a strong private aviation operator providing aircraft management, charter services, and aircraft maintenance.

Today

GA Jet has since evolved into one of the busiest Part 135 Charter operators in the Southeast serving individuals, corporations, and private aviation brokers worldwide.

Our growing fleet of elite private aircraft provide our clients with a wide range of options to choose from. With safety being our top priority, GA Jet has worked tirelessly to obtain the Wyvern Wingman and ARGUS Gold/Flight Leader ratings.

In 2019, GA Jet began its Aircraft Management expansion initiative to better serve our clients increasing demand for worldwide Charter.

As we continue to grow, GA Jet plans to open new offices in several key cities throughout the United States to meet the needs of our Aircraft Management clientele. 

With 2020 came another key milestone. GA Jet has introduced our new FAA-approved Part 145 Repair Station to provide airframe and avionics maintenance for Hawker, King Air, Beechjet, Learjet, and Citation aircraft.

Whether it’s Aircraft Management, Charter Services, or Aircraft Maintenance, GA Jet has only one goal—to exceed our clients’ expectations by delivering “Beyond First Class” service to the private aviation community.
